The Resort

Accommodations

The View Golf Resort Condo Complex contains six suites:

• Four two-bedroom apartment suites
• Two premium studio suites

The suites are fully furnished with everything you’ll need to make them your home away from home. You needn’t worry about a thing, except when you can plan a trip for a relaxing or recreational stay with us.

All of our suites offer:

• Picture windows that showcase a gorgeous view of the ocean as well as eagles, icebergs, whales and moose within the surrounding scenery
• Isolated privacy and peacefulness away from hectic urban setting
• Smoke-Free and Pet-Free Facility
• Shared access to barbecue decks on first and second floor
• Short walk to Clubhouse with Restaurant (seasonal) and Lounge
• Just steps away from Pro Shop and Hole #1 of golf course
• Privacy blinds in all bay windows and darkening blinds in bedrooms
• SOON – Private Telephone and Information System in each room
• Direct access to provincial "TRailway" for hiking, biking, or snowmobiling
• Common green space where you can play croquet, bocce, or horseshoes or just sit around a small campfire
  

Two-Bedroom Apartment Suites (Suites #1 through #4)

Our apartment suites are ideal for a family, two couples, a few golfing buddies, or even a couple who just wants a room with a bit more space and functionality. In addition to the above, our two bedroom apartment suites have the following features:

• 600 square feet of spacious living space
• Two separate bedrooms each featuring a luxury queen bed
• Private four-piece bathroom
• Living area with sofa, satellite TV, and gas fireplace
• Dining area with table and four chairs
• Kitchen area with fridge, stove, microwave, sink, and cabinets
• Coffee pot, toaster, bowls, pots, utensils, glassware
• Coat closet and bedroom closets

* Suites #1 and #2 are both on the main floor for easy access and Suite #1 is specially designed to accommodate guests in wheelchairs or with other disabilities. Click here to see the floorplans for this level

Studio Suites (Suites #5 and #6)

A night in a Studio Suite is perfect for the sole traveler or romantic couple who is looking for a relaxing getaway. Our studio suites have the following additional features:

• 500 square feet of spacious living space
• One luxury queen bed in center of an open floor plan
• Private three-piece bathroom
• Living area with sofa-bed or futon, satellite TV, and gas fireplace
• Dining area with table and two chairs
• Mini-fridge, coffee pot, and toaster

Nightly Rate Schedule

Additional Charges:

• $20 per Extra Guest (more than four in two-bedroom or more than two in studio). One twin cot available per room
• No charge for additional children under 12 years of age
• Play and Stay Upgrades can be added to room rentals
• $100 Additional Cleaning Charge for not obeying No-Smoking or No-Pet rules

Discounts:

• Ask about our multi-room or multi-night discounts when your stay exceeds six room-nights (i.e. 1 room for 7 nights, 2 rooms for 4 nights, 6 rooms for 2 nights)

Reservation Policy:

• Visa or MasterCard are required at time of booking to secure dates

Cancellation Policy:

We understand that planning a vacation can be a difficult thing, and sometimes changes must occur. However, with such a short operating season and so few rooms to offer, we must ensure maximum occupancy and can't afford any last-minute cancellations that cause our rooms to sit empty. Therefore we have implemented a cancellation policy that is still fair for the guest, but also offers us some protection.

• If less than 30 days before arrival: $20 penalty will be charged
• If within 14 days of arrival date: The guest has the option of paying a penalty equal to 50% of the total reservation value OR the guest can choose to pay the full reservation amount plus the $20 penalty and receive an accommodations voucher worth the value of their reservation. The voucher has no cash value, is valid toward accommodations only, is subject to availability, is not transferable, and expires June 25th in the year after the issue date.

Check-In Time:

• 4:00pm  (unless prior arrangements are made)

Check-Out Time: 

• 11:00am (unless prior arrangements are made)

Late Arrivals:

• Please call before 6:00pm to arrange check-in

Quiet Time:

• For the comfort of our other guests, noise is expected to be kept to a minimum between the hours of 11:00pm and 7:00am

Specific Season Starting Dates:

• Winter Season starts on the Tuesday following New Years Day
• Spring Season starts on the Friday before Victoria Day
• Summer Season starts on the Friday before Canada Day
• Shoulder Season starts on the Tuesday after Labour Day
• Fall Season starts on the Monday after Halloween
• Christmas Season starts on the Friday one week before Christmas Eve

Clubhouse

The View Golf Resort Clubhouse contains:

• Lounge with grill on lower level
• Full Service Dining Room on upper level

Both levels of our Clubhouse offer:

• Picture windows that showcase a gorgeous view of the ocean as well as eagles, icebergs, whales  and moose within the surrounding scenery
• Isolated privacy and peacefulness away from hectic urban setting
• Climate-Controlled Building
• Smoke-Free and Pet-Free Facility
• Fresh-Air Decks on first and second floor
• Handicap Parking stalls and wheelchair accessible building design
• Short walk to Pro-Shop, Golf Course, and Accommodations
• Green space out front where you can practice golf or play horseshoes
  

Dining Room

With it's spectacular view of the Atlantic Ocean and rugged Newfoundland shoreline, our dining room offers an atmosphere that turns any meal into a memorable dining experience. Our menu items range from simple soup/salad/sandwich combinations to chicken and rib platters. We pride ourselves in supplying the best of Alberta Beef, seasonal Atlantic Seafood, and traditional Newfoundland cuisine. Our portions are generous but, when they can manage it, our guests are able to choose from a wide selection of appetizers and desserts. The lounge is fully licensed and our wine list is sure to please most everyone. Reservations are not required, but it is recommended that you do call ahead to reserve as our hours of operation change by the season.

Lounge

Our lounge is a great place to drop in after a day's work or a round of golf. Visit with a group, meet some new friends, or just sit back and enjoy the scenery from inside the lounge or from the outdoor patio. Challenge someone to a game of pool or darts, watch a sporting event on our big screen TV, or try your luck on our video lottery terminals. The bar is extensively stocked with a variety of import, domestic and local Newfoundland beer, wine, and spirits.
